go to the Borough market which is right next to the London Bridge train station. The Borough markets are London's oldest food market. It is a great place where they allow you to test taste everything! The markets sell a variatey of gormet food including different cheeses, jams, chutnies, olives and more and you can pretty much have lunch for free!!

The markets sell a variatey of gormet food including different cheeses, jams, chutnies, olives and more and you can pretty much have lunch for free!!It is also a place where you find all those things that are not nomrally in the supermarket - fresh rabbit (with the skin on), wild boar, venison, ostrich and quail. The market is quiet before lunch but becomes packed as more and more people flock to buy lunch and sample food. There must be over a thousand people there at any one time so it can get a little squashy. Our favouite stalls at the market are the various chocolate stalls however the venison stall (which does great sausages) is a close second.
All in all The Borough markets are a great place to spend a few hours, but get in early and beat the crowds!
