The Cambridge Ross and Caroline paid us a visit in London. They arrived on the Saturday afternoon and we went out as the weather was good. Debbie and Caroline went shopping and Ross and I went on a mission to find the board game “Cranium”. After a few hours we came across the shop Hamleys which is a department store just for games. That night we had a few drinks (too many) and played Cranium till the wee hours of the morning.The next day we headed out to Greenwich were we walked around the food and craft markets, we went to visit the burnt out Cutty Sark which was the last English sailing ship before steam took over which had caught fire awhile ago before strolling along the Thames. We ended up at the Martine museum which is right next to the Greenwich line or and place where time begins which is surprisingly uninteresting. However the place also has the first shop in the world which is about 200m down the road from 0 latitude and is very proud to say that is it the first shop in the world. After all that we had a late lunch and Ross and Caroline headed back to Cambridge.
