We decided to do more things outdoors and headed off to Kew Gardens to view some of the flowers before they all disappeared for Autumn. Kew is fantastic and we visited all of the green houses my favourite being Water Lily House with the huge lily pads.We listened to the water going up a eucalyptus tree and saw a bad
ger sett and then went through a human size badger sett which was very dark. We stopped off for a snack and drink half way around as Kew is huge and to make it the whole way food is definetly needed.We saw a rat along the main lake running around and saw a lot of baby water hens which are very cute and very ugly at the same time. We also saw baby swans which are adorable and a squirrel or two.
We walked along the Thames for awhile and through the woodland and visited Queen Charlotte’s cottage and went on the newly opened tree top walk. The tree top walk was ok but nothing compared to the ones I have been on in Australia. Walking through the tr
eetops of a English woodland is just not exciting as a rainforest, it just doesn’t have the same effect. But it was nice to look over Kew and London.After finishing off in the bookshop where I wanted to buy way to much we headed back home with the sun still shining.
